TFA to Collaborate with University of Cambridge
Centre for Geopolitics

17th February 2025
Talking Foreign Affairs with Adil Cader is delighted to announce a new collaboration with the Centre for Geopolitics(CfG) at The University of Cambridge.
Founded in 2015, The CfG is an interdisciplinary space established by leading academics to examine the world’s most pressing geopolitical questions in their historical context. The Centre seeks to deepen the study of grand strategy and statecraft by bringing together scholars and practitioners to address global challenges through history, area studies, and political science.
The CfG publishes research in four principal areas: Europe, Indo-Pacific, Middle East, and Global. It also hosts panels and seminars with leaders from the diplomatic community and features its flagship podcast, On Geopolitics.
The collaboration between Talking Foreign Affairs and the Centre for Geopolitics will focus on panel discussions featuring heads of state. The aim being to increase discussions around important geopolitical issues whilst also giving students the chance to ask questions directly to these leaders.

Speaking on the collaboration, Talking Foreign Affairs founder Adil Cader said:
“We are excited to partner with CfG, given their valuable contribution to geopolitical issues. We look forward to leveraging their expertise and bringing together world leaders to provide a platform for critical discussions and offering students a chance to engage with leaders.”
The first event in this collaboration will feature former New Zealand Prime Minister Sir John Key, who will participate in a panel discussing foreign policy in the Indo-Pacific.
The collaboration is one of many initiatives in 2025 that TFA is doing to get more people interested in global affairs.
